1: This is my first m/m book. I was nervous...but my editor said it has ‘awesome sexual tension’.

2: I didn’t want the end of the world to come from a major catastrophe.

3: The idea for the opening scene convinced me that I *had* to write the story of these men.

4: The Tower of London simply popped out at me as the perfect setting for humanity’s last stand... ;-)

5: The title plays with the final disaster...

6: Rider appeared almost fully formed as a character.

7: I thought bees would be an unusual way for the world to end.

8: I connected the story --bees, saving them and post-apoc--on a walk back from school with my son.

9: Without bees, it’s estimated we’d have 4 years before our extinction...

10: So...be nice to bees!
