Short Story

1: I wrote this short story in the middle of writing Agamemnon Frost. I was on a steampunk high.

2: The title came - as they sometimes do - about three seconds before I subbed the story to Cleis!

3: Lightning was one of those sweet stories that almost wrote itself.

4: I love the opening paragraph. Strange, but true.

5: I wish I had a cellar. Just saying... ;-)
