1: I didn’t realise that I had the Garden of Eden at the back of my mind when I started this story.

2: Snakes and a too-tempting fruit...

3: And a heroine called Niamh...

4: I also found that Rand’s scales went *all* the way down when I wrote the scene.

5: I think I’d like to write more in this world.  It’s a case of finding the right angle...
